![]() It is one of very few players that will play 5.1-7.1 audio tracks in stereo, *evenly splitting the audio to both left & right* when using headphones - most favor one side or the other. It supports the DTS & AC3 HD audio on many current Blu-Ray discs, though I have experienced distortion playing DTSHD using some of their true theater modes. Essentially it's a licensed Blu-Ray & DVD player that plays the DRM laden discs you buy the same as a stand-alone player connected to your TV, with all menus & features. I've run PowerDVD since something like version 3 - currently I'm running PowerDVD 15 ultra.
